Dr. Deepankur Mahajan completed his graduation from Delhi University and subsequently did his post-graduation (MD) from prestigious Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences (RP Centre) at AIIMS, the apex centre for ophthalmology in the country. He further received specialized training in Vitreo-retina, Trauma and ROP from the same institute. Dr. Deepankur Mahajan obtained his fellowship from International College of Ophthalmologists in 2010 and became a fellow of All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) for Retina and Vitreous Specialty in the same year. Dr. Deepankur Mahajan has been routinely performing complex vitreoretinal surgical procedures and ocular trauma repair. His areas of keen interest include cataract surgery especially advance iol technologies and refractive surgery for spectacle removal. Dr. Deepankur Mahajan is one of the first surgeons to start SMILE Lenticule extraction procedure for laser vision correction (which he incorporated in his practice) and Minimally invasive Micro-incision Glaucoma Surgery (using KDB Glide) in the area. Dr. Deepankur Mahajan has authored many articles in national and international journals and has presented papers and given talks at various international conferences. Dr. Deepankur Mahajan has been a regular in live surgery sessions at various conferences. Currently, Dr. Deepankur Mahajan is the director and senior eye consultant at Mahajan Eye Center, Pitampura. My name is Gourav, and I would like to share my honest experience with Mahajan Eye Centre. I got my LASIK and barrage eye surgery done here, and my vision is very good and stable till now.
My overall medical experience was excellent, especially with Dr. Deepankur Kumar Mahajan. During the LASIK procedure, he was extremely polite, calm, and reassuring. He kept talking to me throughout the surgery, which helped me stay relaxed. Earlier, during my barrage surgery, he guided me very well and explained all the instructions clearly and politely. His professionalism and caring attitude made a big difference and reduced my anxiety.
Both surgeries were smooth and painless, and post surgery care was handled well. I received proper guidance regarding medicines, precautions, and follow up visits, and the medical team was available whenever needed.
However, I would like to honestly mention one issue. The main reception lady was rude because we were availing a discount of Rs 1500 through Pristyn Care, while the original cost of the test was Rs 3000. Initially, she was not willing to accept the discounted amount and created some discomfort. Later, due to some reasons, she agreed, but the behavior at that moment was unpleasant.
Apart from this, the clinic was clean, well organized, and most of the staff was supportive. Appointments were managed on time.
I am still very happy with my decision to choose Mahajan Eye Centre because of the excellent treatment and care provided by Dr. Deepankur Kumar Mahajan. I am grateful for the improvement in my vision and quality of life. Thank you to the doctor and the medical team for their dedication.

Yesterday, I got my wife Pushpa Joshi’s cataract eye surgery done. The support from Mahajan Eye Centre staff was very good. I would like to share my experience step by step.
First, I received support from Pristinecare.com, where Mr. Himanshu Ji cleared all my doubts and suggested Mahajan Eye Centre.
After that, during our first visit to Mahajan Eye Centre, the counselling was very supportive and helpful. and her representative explained everything to us in a very simple and clear way. All the staff members were also clear about their roles, responsibilities, and authority.
Dr. Deepankur Mahajan Ji is highly qualified and experienced (MBBS, MD).
The TPA desk team was also very supportive and completed the surgery under Star Health cashless approval within one day after submitted all required documents.
Today, the eye surgery was done successfully. Vision is already good, and it is expected to become fully clear within 3 to 7 days.
I am sharing this experience because earlier I visited another reputed eye center, but they did not clearly explain my doubts and gave confusing answers.

I had gone through lasik treatment from Mahajan Eye Center and had an amazing experience. Dr Dipankar was really helpful and explained all the possibilities and expectations to me in detail well in advance. The staff at the center is also very cheerful and polite, everyone made me feel the warmth and helped me to go through the surgery with ease.

I had a very good experience here with my SMILE surgery. Dr. Deepankur is highly skilled and takes the time to listen patiently and explains everything clearly. The staff, right from the receptionists to the counsellors are polite, friendly, and well-coordinated, which makes the whole experience hassle-free.
